Sports Hub Library Closure

The Sports Hub Library will be officially closed from 12th November 2023

We thank you for your support over the past nine years and continue to welcome you to be part of the programmes and activities at the Singapore Sports Hub. 
 
Q1. When is the last day of the library’s operations? 
The last day of operations will be 11th November 2023. The library will be officially closed from 12th November 2023.  

Q2. When is the last day to borrow library resources?

There will be no onsite borrowing of print resources from 23rd October 2023 onwards. Borrowing of e-resources (e.g., e-books, e-magazines) will continue for the months of September and October, and the last day to return all e-resources will be 11th November 2023. 

Pre-scheduled library programmes and/or activities will continue for the month of October, if any.  

Q3. How can I return my library books?  
You can return your library books at the Sports Hub Library either at the counter (during library operating hours) or via the Self-service Book Drop just outside the library (24 hrs). Please note that overdue charges will apply for items returned late. 

Library operating hours 
Monday to Friday: 10AM to 8PM 
Weekends, Eve of PH & PH: 10AM to 9PM  

Q4. Can I return my library books at one of the NLB branches? 
No. All library resources belong to the Singapore Sports Hub and should be returned to the Sports Hub Library. 

Q5. What happens to my existing library membership? 
Your membership to the Sports Hub Library will expire automatically after 11th November 2023.

Q6. Where can I get sports-related books in future? 
You may wish to explore the collection available at the public libraries under the National Library Board. Just visit www.nlb.gov.sg to search for physical books or eBooks of your topic of interest. Additionally, selected titles from the Sports Hub library collection will be relocated to the Tampines Regional Library and National Library and will be made available progressively to the public from end March 2024.

Q7. Where can I go to for sports-related information in future? 
You may visit www.nlb.gov.sg for more information about sports-related collection or programmes, or write to ref@nlb.gov.sg if you require any assistance navigating the resources.

Q8. I am a regular participant of several programmes organised by the Sports Hub Library. Will these programmes be continued by the Singapore Sports Hub? 
The Singapore Sports Hub will be reviewing some of the programmes and activities previously organised by the library. Please check out the Sports and Fitness page for updates.

Q9. Will the meeting rooms be available for bookings after the library ceases operations? 
No. From 12th November, the Sports Hub Library will be officially closed.
