Featuring a 10-lane competition pool and an 8-lane training pool, the 3,000-seat OCBC Aquatic Centre is proud to be home to Singapore Swimming Association. Having hosted both the 28th South East Asian Games 2015 and the 5th FINA World Juniors Swimming Championships 2015, this world-class facility is the perfect location for hosting a variety of community, regional and international competitions.

Plan a total body workout with an afternoon of lap swimming, or make a splash at our range of aqua fitness classes! Whether you’re a novice or an experienced swimmer, the sheltered swimming pool provides the conditions for an excellent workout. From aqua biking and aqua fit classes to Learn-to-Swim programmes, our variety of programmes are designed for every skill level and interest!

Smash your personal best at the OCBC Aquatic Centre! Whether you’re a novice or an experienced swimmer, lap swimming makes for an excellent workout. Our public indoor swimming pool is open to you, rain or shine.

The competition pool is available for booking on selected days and will be in 25m or 50m configuration.

Swim pass pricing

**For the ‘8-Visit Swim Pass’, the Card is transferable to a friend or family member and only within the same or lower pricing category but is not exchangeable with cash or another voucher and shall not be replaced if lost.

Category Requirement

  • Local Resident: Singapore citizens and permanent residents with a valid photo ID
  • Child: under 18 years old
  • Student: with a valid student pass
  • Senior Citizen: 55 years old and above

SWIMMING LESSONS FOR KIDS AND BEGINNERS

New to swimming? From your first splash to building water confidence, join our various swimming programmes for a splashing good time!

PROGRAMMES DETAILS

Age5 years and above.
*Do note that all classes comprise of participants of different age groups.
AttireSwimwear of colourfast and lightweight material suitable for swimwear, such as lycra, spandex or nylon.
Appropriate swimwear includes:
  • One and two-piece swim suits
  • Swim trunks, jammers, swim board shorts
  • Rash guards/wetsuits
  • Hijood/burqini or other approved Islamic swimwear

Swim AssessmentIf you are a first timer, or have prior swimming experience but are unsure of your swim level, feel free to drop us an email at ocbc.aquatic-centre@sportshub.com.sg to request for a swim assessment to find a suitable class for you to enrol in.

Level 1: Adult Beginner

The adult beginner class teaches students to be comfortable in the water by exploring different kinds of forms and drag, and eventually can swim comfortably. Ideal for people who have water confidence issues and wish to learn basic movements in water.

Water Familiarization

Catered for kids with water confidence issues, they will learn to explore in and around the water safely focusing on breath control, submersion, floats, and propulsion. This will prepare them for SwimSafer Stage 1.

SwimSafer 1

The objective is to develop confidence and independence in the water, learn general and deep-end water safety. Techniques taught include the forward and backward movement, safe entry and exit and personal water safety.

General skill development including unassisted step entry into water, sculling, feet first surface dives, personal water safety skills as well as water safety in aquatic environments. Goal is to achieve 25 metres of continuous swimming.

Working on personal water safety skills such as swimming underwater for 2 metres, use of personal floatation device and building on stroke technique. Goal is to achieve 50m of continuous swimming.
