Featuring a 10-lane competition pool and an 8-lane training pool, the 3,000-seat OCBC Aquatic Centre is proud to be home to Singapore Swimming Association. Having hosted both the 28th South East Asian Games 2015 and the 5th FINA World Juniors Swimming Championships 2015, this world-class facility is the perfect location for hosting a variety of community, regional and international competitions.

The OCBC Aquatic Centre provides more ways than one for you to get in on the action at the Singapore Sports Hub!

Plan a total body workout with an afternoon of lap swimming, or make a splash at our range of aqua fitness classes! Whether you’re a novice or an experienced swimmer, lap swimming makes for an excellent workout. From aqua biking and aqua fit classes to Learn-to-Swim programmes, our variety of programmes are designed for every skill level and interest!

Our lap swimming hours are from 7AM to 10PM in the training pool. The competition pool is available on selected days and will be in 25m or 50m configuration.

ATTIRE & EQUIPMENT

  • Equipment will be provided for all classes.
  • Swimwear of colourfast and lightweight material suitable for swimwear such as lycra, spandex or nylon. Appropriate swimwear includes:
    • One and two piece swim suits
    • Swim trunks, jammers, swim board shorts
    • Rash guards / Wetsuits
    • Hijood / burqini or other approved Islamic swimwear
    • Swim waterproof nappies for non-toilet trained kids
    • Swim cap (optional)

SWIM ASSESSMENT

If you are a first timer or have prior swimming experience but are unsure of your swim level, feel free to request for a swim assessment to find a suitable class for enrolment with us. Drop us an email at ocbc.aquatic-centre@sportshub.com.sg.

Aqua Fitness Class

Keep fit and have fun doing it this June with the June Aqua Fitness Pass! Enjoy 18 class offerings over 15 days in the month of June for just $188 (usual price $600), including the all new Aqua Drums Vibes (Shallow/Deepwater) programmes. For just $188, enjoy unlimited access to all Aqua Fitness Classes this month!

Fitness Pass is available for purchase now

  • Fill up the indemnity form and make payment for the unlimited pass from the Customer Care Counter.

Booking of Classes for Pass Holders only:

  • Booking of class starts on Friday, 1 June 2018
  • Availability is based on first come first serve

Via Phone:

  • Participants may book their classes by calling 6653 8900 between 10am to 5pm daily.
  • Name and serial number of pass must be provided upon booking.
  • You may help to book for your friend by providing their name and serial number as well.

Onsite Booking:

  • Available from 7am to 10pm daily at the Customer Care Counter

Water Familiarization for Beginners (5 - 9 years old)

Catered for kids with water confidence issues, they will learn to explore in and around the water safely focusing on breath control, submersion, floats, and propulsion. This will prepare them for SwimSafer ​Stage 1.

Spice up your training routine with our upbeat water aerobics sessions! Done in shallow water at chest depth, this class is easy to follow and gets you an intense all-over workout without harming the joints. Aqua Fit + Deepwater Combo

Aqua Fit + Deepwater Combo
Aqua Fit + Deepwater combo workout is the best of both worlds. 30 minutes Aqua Fit at the shallow end for toning and endurance and 30 minutes Deepwater workout at the deeper end with the use of the floatation belt for non-impact cardiovascular resistance training. Overall body conditioning for balance and strength. Suitable for both swimmers and non-swimmers.

SwimSafer 1 (5 - 17 years old)

The objective is to develop confidence and independence in the water, learn general and deep-end water safety. Techniques taught include the forward and backward movement, safe entry and exit and personal water safety.

Pre-requisite: Child must be comfortable in the water without goggles and/or have gone through the water familiarisation programme.

SwimSafer 2 (5 - 17 years old)

General skill development including unassisted step entry into water, sculling, feet first surface dives, personal water safety skills as well as water safety in aquatic environments. Goal is to achieve 25 metres of continuous swimming. Goal is to achieve 25 metres of continuous swimming.

Pre-requisite: Able to swim 10 metres with any stroke without goggles and/or have a SwimSafer 1 certification.​
