What are the opening hours of the OCBC Arena?
We are open from 7:00AM to 10:00PM, Monday to Sunday. As the venue may not be available for public usage on event days, we encourage you to check our ‘Announcements’ for the details before your visit.
Are there lockers available?
Yes, lockers are available at no additional charges and they are located beside the changing rooms. Please note that all lockers have to be cleared by the end of the day.
What are the payment modes available?
We accept cash and NETS payments.

How can I register for the sessions?
You will need to complete this
form and send an email to
ocbc.arena@sportshub.com.sg. Please ensure that you bring along a valid photo ID for verification and kindly note that your registration is confirmed upon receipt of the payment and completed registration form.
What are the available sessions for registration?
There are 3 levels available for registration and you may choose to register for 'Beginner', 'Intermediate' or 'Advanced'. Please be informed trainees will be divided into different classes based on their age and ability (assessed by trainers).
What will I expect to learn at the different levels?
Beginner
Training will focus on body movement, psychomotor skills and fundamental skills such as basic ball handling and footwork. This is to prepare the trainees for the next phase where they will learn more about the game.
Intermediate
Trainees will undergo tougher skills training which will hone fundamental skills and improve the ability to read and react swiftly to in-game situations while learning basic in-game plays needed to compete in a full basketball match.
Advanced
Complex and demanding drills will be introduced to the trainees, taking them out of their comfort zone. The training will put the trainee’s capabilities to the test and improve overall performance. Trainees will be taught advanced teamplay strategies commonly used across local and international teams.
Is there a minimum class size for the sessions?
Yes, the minimum class size is 3.
What is the maximum class size for sessions?
The maximum class size is 20.
Is there any age restrictions to register for the sessions?
Yes, the participants will need to be between 5 years old and 18 years old in order for them to register for the sessions. Please note that the age is calculated based on the date of birth of the child.
What is the duration of the classes?
The duration for each class is 1.5 hours. Trainees and parents are encouraged to arrive early for the registration and attendance taking.
What is the typical trainer to trainee ratio?
The typical trainer to trainee ratio is 1:10.
Can I join a trial session?
Yes, each trainee is entitled to one free trial.
Do you have any videos or photos of the training session?
What will the trainees receive after the registration?
Each trainee who has registered for a full-term will receive one signature Scholar Basketball Academy T-shirt and a Li-Ning basketball.
Can I request for a refund if I do not wish to continue with the sessions?
There will be no refunds after the payment is confirmed.
If I am unable to attend the class, will I be entitled to any make-up sessions or refunds?
The make-up sessions are subject to availability and you may send your request to
ocbc.arena@sportshub.com.sg. Kindly be advised that the make-up sessions may be held at other training venues such as Anderson Secondary School and Anglo-Chinese School and there will be no refunds for any missed sessions.
