SPORTS DEVELOPMENT SERIES: CYCLING
The Sports Development Series is a collaboration between Experience Sports and various National Sports Associations (NSA). The series focuses on developing sports at the community level with programmes catered for youths and children, enabling them to acquire new skills and develop positive attitudes through sport.
In collaboration with Singapore Cycling Federation, Singapore Sports Hub launches a new cycling series for children between the age of 7 and 12 years old.
This series offers two amazing programmes that cater to different skill levels:
'Beginner' programme suitable for new cyclists
'Progression' programme suitable for proficient cyclists (able to cycle 50m on a two-wheeled bicycle independently)
Venue: 100PLUS Promenade, Gate 10 (Outside National Stadium)
Learn the fundamentals of bike handling to be a skilled and competent cyclist, how to maintain a bicycle and develop the skills and judgement for personal safety from professional coaches. You will get to complete the programme with two exciting cycling expeditions too!
*Free use of bicycles and helmets for all participants for all sessions
*Minimum of 10 sign-ups for programmes to commence
