National Antiquities Parade
Discover the captivating "National Antiquities Parade," an extraordinary archaeological find featuring 250 clay sculptures that depict the last National Day Parade held at the old Kallang National Stadium. Visit the Visitor Centre at the Singapore Sports Hub and assist Dr. Farook Farkhan, a time-traveling archaeologist from the Temporal Displacement Agency, in restoring and painting these artifacts in the vibrant colours of national unity, just in time for the SG60 celebrations. This community-driven participatory arts project honours Mountbatten's unique contribution to Singapore's nationhood, as it was the only residential area to host National Day parades from 1973 to 2006.
